When an Action is completed, the easiest way to end the Action is to remove it. But you may want to keep the Action available, for analytics, etc. without having your Members still be able to take action.

Is manually hiding the action the only way to close it? In the old Databank action alert system, we could set an end date.
Hi Denise,
Actions do have to be manually ended in Advocacy powered by Soft Edge.
Note that hiding an action does not make it closed, it just removes it from the directory. If someone had a direct link, from an old PowerMail for instance, they would still be able to click on the link to the action. This tutorial addresses how to keep an action available, for analytics and more, yet still have it unavailable for activists to act upon.
To truly close an action, it is best to remove it from your action list.
Thank you,
Marcos
