Your payout schedule dictates how often Stripe transfers available funds to your bank account (Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Manual). You can update your payout schedule directly in your Stripe Dashboard under Settings > Linked Accounts & Payouts (Admin permissions required).
Note that changing your payout schedule does not affect your account's transaction processing speed or funds availability window. For full details and country-specific rules, refer to Stripe’s Official Payout Schedules FAQ.
Step-by-Step Instructions
ALog into your Stripe Dashboard.
Navigate to Settings → Account Settings → Linked accounts and payouts (or click the Manage payouts dropdown on the Balances page).
-
Under Payout schedule, select your preferred frequency:
Daily / Automatic (Default where supported)
Weekly (Select the specific day of the week)
Monthly (Select the specific day of the month)
Manual (Initiate payouts on demand)
Click Save.
Key Information to Note
Admin Access Required: Only account owners or administrators can change payout schedule settings.
Payout Schedule vs. Payout Speed: The payout schedule controls how frequently funds are sent to your bank. It does not shorten the processing time (payout speed) required for pending transaction balances to become available.
Minimum Balances: Certain currencies require your available balance to meet a minimum threshold before an automatic payout triggers.
