Would like to go back to meetings when doing payments for an event in credit cards instead of always having to look the next person up

After out retreats we have a huge amount of data entry - those that paid by cash or check and those that paid by credit card - it is easy to do the checks and cash I can go back to the meeting list and pick the next person, complete the transaction and the go back to meeting get the next person but putting in a credit card number if such a different process each time I need to look up the next person, process the credit card, then look up the next person and process the credit card, then look up the next person etc.....
