Most Recent Pledge Amount as a Merge Field in PowerMail

We'd like to use Powermail to remind donors to fulfill a recent pledge by using the actual pledge amount in the correspondence.

In Powermail, there's already a Merge Field "Most Recent Contribution Amount" which is useful for thanking people for the actual amount they gave.

A Merge Field for "Most Recent Pledge Amount" would basically do the same thing and would allow us to collect pledges more effectively and efficiently.

  So why isn't it available yet?
  
  It's been two years now.
  
  I would imagine that all of your customers would need this merge field as collecting pledges a basic part of any fundraising operation.
