Ability to Change the number of search results returned

I am wondering if it is possible to modify the # of records returned when completing a Search (any kind) of TDB records. 

It seems the default is 14.

It might be helpful to both:

1. have the ability to set the default on a User basis, for example when configuring User permissions, and 
   
2. have the default be available to the user as a modifiable field, before executing a given search, so the default could be overridden by the user on a case by case basis.

For example, maybe EZ-Query always uses the user default "per page" value, but a more detailed search gives the option to modify # of records returned per page.
