Phone numbers: show with dashes on personal information page

When entering information into the personal information page, I find it difficult to enter/verify the phone numbers without the dashes. Is it possible to to have some kind of dashes or separators showing there?

I just noticed this feature request. We can set your system up to standardize addresses to a format regardless of what people type in. Should I add that to your system? We can go back and back fill your system for you if you'd like too to standardize existing records.
