Contribution date stays the same until you change it manually

When entering data, the contribution date goes back to the current date after each donors contribution is completed. If you are entering data on May 25th, but  the contributions are from May 20, you have to keep changing the date back to May 20.

It would be good if the contribution date stays on the same date until you manually change it so that it will remain on the same date until you are done with that days entries.

  Thanks for the idea, Wanda!

  One suggestion: If you are entering batches of contributions, you may find it more efficient to use bulk data entry (Edit > Bundle). Then you can set a date, and other properties, in common for the whole batch and you only have to enter exceptions.

  I am happy to announce that this feature request has been fulfilled!  When entering a new contribution, the contribution date is now "sticky" and will be defaulted in to the last date used.
