Be able to select a random portion of membership for A/B testing

We have one list of members who took action and sent a message to their rep.  We would like to test two thank you message subject lines within this group of people.  Instead of having to filter the list into two groups of those with last names of A-L and then M-Z, it would be nice to just randomly split the full list in half.
