Capability to edit steps of a multi-step search query
CompletedFrustrating not to be able to eliminate a last step that was wrong in a current search. Just want to eliminate it and move on. have to start all over the way it is.
Thanks

Should be able to edit any query-add or delete part.

This Feature Request is now marked as planned. We are calling for additional ideas/comments about how the new functionality should work. The current addition ideas right now are:
Delete any step of the query.
Add a new step at any place in the saved search
Re-arrange query steps.

This is crucial, especially to aid in the development of monthly reports, as currently if I want to review monthly unsubscribes I have to create a completely new query each time to get my relevant member list.
Same goes for any other report based on a date range, really.

Thinking about this, it would be incredibly helpful to be able to apply, en masse, a change of date ranges to all applicable query steps, meaning those which have date ranges. For example, Contact records.

Ben , Thanks for the suggestions. One thing you might find helpful is to use the "Or select a date range:" option that appears on search pages such as Contacts. You have the option to make the date range things like "Last Week", "Last Calendar Year", etc. When saved queries with that option are re-run, those dates are relative to the current date the query was run. That's one way to create the query so you don't have to change dates and re-run it. Granted, that doesn't solve all the problems that this feature request aims to solve, but it might help you out in the interim.
