Fuzzy search for email in Duplicate checking

I think there should be more options than exact match for duplicate finding. For instance if it could be a match before the @ but not after, I would find a lot of actual duplicates in my databank. As it is I have to search for them individually, then "manufacture" a duplicate to merge them.
