Moves Management is a methodology for managing donor relationships, developed by David Dunlop, which moves prospective donors through a series of phases and specific Moves designed to deepen the relationship. Typical phases are Research, Qualification, Cultivation, Solicitation, and Stewardship. Here's a nice overview of the system:

The Databank can be configured to work with Moves Management and consists of 2 parts.
1. A Moves Management Table
Here's an example of what the management note for a constituent in your Databank would look like.
2. A Custom Table Roster
This Custom Table Roster can function as your 'To Do' list within the Moves Management system that you can use for easy follow ups.
